Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address, name
  • Natal chart data: date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, chart name (chosen by you)
  • Chat data: messages you send and AI-generated responses
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we do not store card details
  • Technical data: IP address, user agent, cookies necessary for authentication

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Providing the service: calculating natal charts, generating AI responses
  • Authentication and account security
  • Processing payments
  • Improving the service through aggregated, anonymized analytics

3. Third Parties

We share data with the following third-party services:

  • Astrology API: receives date, time, and place of birth for natal chart calculation. This is personal data and is processed under a Data Processing Agreement.
  • Anthropic (Claude AI): receives your chat messages and anonymized astrological data (planet positions, aspects, houses). Your date of birth, real name, and location are NOT sent to Anthropic. Anthropic operates with zero data retention for API calls.
  • Stripe: processes payment data (PCI DSS compliant).
  • Google: only if you use Google OAuth for sign-in (email, name, Google ID).
  • SMTP provider: email address for verification emails.

4. International Data Transfers

Some data is transferred to the United States (Anthropic, Stripe, Google). These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Art. 15)
  • Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • Delete your data — "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format (Art. 20)
  • Restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • Withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7)

6. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed.
  • AI call logs (token counts, costs — no message content) are retained for billing purposes.

7. Recommendation

We recommend not including sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary in your chat messages. While we protect your data, the AI processes your message text to generate responses.

8. Cookies

We use only necessary cookies for authentication and session management. No marketing or analytics cookies are used without your explicit consent.
